An industry-targeted and market-focused approach
The goal of our RD&E Program is to improve efficiency, sustainability, egg quality, education and technology transfer in the Australian egg industry.
AECL takes an industry-targeted and market-focused approach to RD&E. Proposals for both production-oriented and off-farm RD&E, including markets and marketing systems research, are encouraged.
Any organisation, company or individual is eligible for support to undertake RD&E activity that addresses AECL's key long term and immediate research priorities. R&D activity includes research projects, feasibility studies, training, dissemination of information, provision of advice or assistance and the publication of reports, periodicals, books or papers on RD&E activity.
AECL's RD&E Program is listed on the Australian Competitive Grants Register (ACGR) under Commonwealth Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry schemes.
Research, Development and Extension strategy and research priorities
AECL’s Research, Development and Extension (RD&E) strategic purpose is to innovate commercially-responsive and production efficient solutions to enhance industry and stakeholder competitiveness and sustainability of egg businesses and communities over the short and long term.
